This month, the architecture industry is headed to Philadelphia for three days of lectures, meetings, and some real-life, business-card-swapping networking. What should you see during AIA Convention 2016?
The Philadelphia Museum of Art: The Berlin-based, Burkina Faso–born architect Francis Kéré designed an immersive, site-specific installation for the upcoming Creative Africa season at the downtown museum. “The Architecture of Francis Kéré: Building for Community,” showcases his community-focused, collaborative work that makes use of local materials, and encourages museum visitors to engage with their surroundings.
