WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 18, 2016) - Hanley Wood, the premier company serving the information and marketing needs of the construction industry, has hired Jennifer Castenson as Director of Content for Thought Leadership. Castenson will be responsible for theme and content development for all of Hanley Wood’s premier conferences and concept home programs across all industry verticals, and in particular for the newly announced HIVE (Housing Innovation, Vision & Economics) to launch in September 2016.
Castenson will focus on bringing together an unparalleled line-up of CEOs, innovators, thought-leaders, game-changers, policy makers, and consumer intelligence experts for a two day program around the theme Disrupt or Be Disrupted. The HIVE event, focused on five pillars: design, demographics, talent, economics and product innovation, is scheduled September 28 – 29 at LA Live (JW Marriott) in Los Angeles, CA.
Castenson will source industry thought leadership and coordinate content from within Hanley Wood’s industry leading and world-class editorial teams and Metrostudy – the largest data provider in the residential housing industry. Castenson's experience spans nearly 10 years in the building products industry, formerly serving as Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Multifamily Sales for Organized Living, the industry’s highest quality storage and organization provider. At Organized Living, Castenson created thought provoking and award winning marketing programs and sales campaigns that were unparalleled by other manufacturers.
“Jennifer helps us round out our team to provide a singular focus on bringing the best and brightest to the HIVE event,” said John McManus, editorial director at Hanley Wood. “Her enthusiasm for innovation, her dynamic approach to capturing integrated market ideas, and her industry experience will make HIVE an annual tradition for all industry leaders.”
