Hanley Wood University Appoints Karol Kaiser as Senior Director, Education & Training
Washington, DC. (January 9, 2013) – Hanley Wood University, the premier destination for design and construction professions seeking continuing education and training programs, announced it has hired Karol Kaiser to the position of Senior Director, Education & Training.
Ms. Kaiser has over 25 years of experience in the corporate education and training field and is recognized as one of the top experts in the development and implementation of experiential learning programs. Ms. Kaiser will lead Hanley Wood University’s curriculum development for its five industry specific learning environments and the creation of blended learning programs that complement in-person programming offered at Hanley Wood tradeshows and events.
Located in Hanley Wood’s Washington, DC office, she will report to Jennifer Pearce, Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing Services. “Karol is one of the most respected and knowledgeable people in the education market and we are thrilled to have her join our team. Her expertise and perspective on creating premier educational programs will be of great benefit as we continue to evolve Hanley Wood University,” said Pearce.
Prior to joining Hanley Wood University, Ms. Kaiser led the education and training development initiatives for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), in Washington, D.C. Her expertise led to the development of innovative green building and LEED Rating System education programs that annually reached nearly 100,000 building industry professionals and USGBC members. She also held senior education positions at Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Architecture and Engineering, P.C., the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Ms. Kaiser earned a BA in Architectural History from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and a Graduate Degree in Architectural Preservation from Boston University.
