Building the World of Concrete Brand in Mexico City

Dallas, TX, June 6, 2013 — Jackie James, Director of World of Concrete, will travel to Mexico City and Puebla in late June to participate in a trade mission hosted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The primary goal of the mission is to increase attendees and exhibitors from Mexico at World of Concrete and promote the use of concrete and masonry in the commercial construction industries.

The LVCVA has conducted about 14 of these missions, specifically for trade show producers focused on increasing their international business, working with the U.S. Department of Commerce in countries such as China, Brazil, Panama, Colombia and more.

“The International attendee has been a focus for World of Concrete for more than 10 years. Because World of Concrete attracts the latest products and technologies from around the globe, building our international attendee and exhibitor base has been a priority for us. Our show has been selected for the 9th consecutive year to be part of the International Buyer Program by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and this trip is a great opportunity to continue to build brand awareness for World of Concrete,” stated James.
